MENOPAUSE
The Menopause stage marks the end of the reproductive years and is a result of the decline in reproductive hormones, particularly oestrogen and progesterone. The Menopause stage is very much a transition from Peri to Post Menopause. HOW DO I RECOGNISE THE MENOPAUSE STAGE?
The most obvious sign that the menopause stage has been reached is the lack of periods for 12 consecutive months.
This signals the end of the reproductive years and the beginning of postmenopause.
Additionally, experiencing symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, mood swings, and changes in libido may provide the recognition that the menopause stage has started.
